Bronte Creek

HISTORY

The neighbourhood of Bronte Creek is surrounded by Bronte Creek Provincial Park. This recreational provincial park was established in 1972, but didn’t publically open its gates until 1975. Since opening, Bronte Creek Provincial Park has had an annual visitation of approx. 400,000.

The land for the newly developed Bronte Creek was obtained by Monarch Corp (who was also the developer for some of the homes in this area). This corporation obtained the land in the 1990s.

OVERVIEW

Bronte Creek is easily accessible and located west of Bronte Rd., east of Burlock, just north of Upper Middle Rd. and south of Dundas St. Due to its proximity to Bronte Creek Provincial Park, this upper class area is surrounded by lots of greenery and many bike paths, neighbourhood parks and trails.
